Car keys start at about $100 for a copy of a working key, $140 for a chip (transponder) key cut and programmed, $150 for a key with remote buttons and $180 for a smart (push-to-start) key. The final price depends on your vehicle and key. These prices are for adding a key when you have a working one; all-keys-lost jobs are quoted by phone.
